SUMMARY:2025 Defensive Rifle Course *SOLD OUT*
DESCRIPTION:This is a one-day class from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. The emphasis of this course is on AR-style defensive rifle handling and shooting skills. Targets will be short to medium-range\, focusing on home defensive ranges. Students will be taught rights and responsibilities\, loading\, unloading\, speed loads\, tactical loads\, malfunction clearance\, zeroing\, disassembly and assembly\, and rifle component functions. Red Dot-type sights\, ACOG\, other low-power scopes\, and standard iron sights are welcome. You must have a backup iron sight capability if you have a sight. A minimum of three 20+ round magazines\, pockets\, or pouches to hold extra magazines or ammo are required. Standard range equipment such as eye and ear protection is needed. Knee and elbow pads are recommended. Bring your concealed carry handgun outside the waistband holster or other configuration and ammo for transition drills. Contact us for other equipment questions or requirements. A nominal 500 rounds are required. NO tracer or Armor Piercing ammo allowed. \nNo refunds are given for this class. If there is a vacancy\, it is possible to move to another class date.

SUMMARY:Defensive Handgun for the Armed Citizen
DESCRIPTION:Defensive Handgun for the Armed Citizen course is designed for individuals who want to develop the skills and knowledge necessary for responsible\, effective self-defense. Participants must be at least 18 years of age and are encouraged to bring a semi-automatic pistol and a sturdy belt\, along with a leather or kydex holster (no trigger finger retention holsters allowed). Eye and ear protection are also required. The curriculum covers use of force training\, real-life scenario training\, position shooting\, and one-handed handgun manipulations\, providing a comprehensive and hands-on education. Participants should bring 300 rounds of ammunition to maximize their learning experience. More equipment information will be sent to the students 2 weeks prior to class. This course is designed specifically for the home defender who owns any shotgun (must be able to shoot slugs\, IC\, or modified choke) and prefers pump and semi-auto actions. This will be a ten-hour class. \nIn this class\, we will dispel the myths surrounding the Shotgun and equip you with the knowledge of its practical use for in-home defense. We are also excited to introduce a new segment on Bear protection. \nDuring this comprehensive course\, you will master safety\, Operation\, Loads\, Reloads\, Malfunctions\, Deployment\, Patterning\, Movement\, Communication\, and Bear Protection\, and even have the opportunity to shoot the Alaska State Bear qualification. We leave no stone unturned to ensure you are fully equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge. \nTo fully participate in the course\, you will need to bring the following items: A shotgun capable of shooting standard slugs (tactical shotguns are preferred but not mandatory)\, Ammunition\, Eye Protection (one set of clear)\, Ear Protection\, Knee pads\, Elbow pads\, Hat with brim\, Magazine pouch or pants with cargo pockets\, Small pack or bag\, Sunscreen\, Rain Gear\, Rugged Footwear\, Cleaning Gear\, Any Special Tools for your gun/gear\, and Manual for your firearm and gear. \n12 GAUGE AMMO WILL BE PROVIDED \nYou can’t get your money back for this class. SUMMARY:2026 Defensive Rifle Basic Course
DESCRIPTION:This is a one-day class from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. The emphasis of this course is on AR-style defensive rifle handling and shooting skills. Targets will be short to medium-range\, focusing on home defensive ranges. Students will be taught rights and responsibilities\, loading and unloading\, speed and tactical loads\, malfunction clearance\, zeroing\, disassembly and assembly\, and rifle component functions. Red Dot-type sights\, ACOG\, other low-power scopes\, and standard iron sights are welcome. You must have a backup iron sight capability if you have a sight. A minimum of three 20+ round magazines\, pockets\, or pouches to hold extra magazines or ammo is required. Standard range equipment\, such as eye and ear protection\, is needed. Knee and elbow pads are recommended.  Contact us for other equipment questions or requirements. A nominal 500 rounds are required. NO tracer or armor-piercing ammo allowed. \nNo refunds are given for this class. If there is a vacancy\, it is possible to move to another class date.
