SUMMARY:Alaska Concealed Handgun Permit Class
DESCRIPTION:This is the NRA Basic Pistol with Legal and Use of Force class for armed Citizens who wish to apply for the Alaska Concealed Handgun Permit (ACHP). It meets all of the requirements and more. \nWe provide the training\, assist in the paperwork\, and do the fingerprinting. To complete the application requirement\, you must submit your forms (provided)\, fingerprint cards (provided for a small fee)\, photo\, and $87.00 to the State of Alaska. \nC4TG can provide everything you need to complete this course if you do not own a handgun\, holster\, or any equipment; our goal is your training so you develop the confidence to carry. \nThe course is 12 hours (State Requirement) runs on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to around 5:00 p.m.  \nThis is an excellent beginning Pistol class\, even if you do not want the ACHP. To take this course\, you must be able to own or possess a firearm legally. Due to ITARS\, you must be a U.S. citizen and provide proof if asked. You must meet the state of Alaska requirements per Alaska Statute 18.65.705 if you apply for an ACHP. \nYOU WILL RECEIVE AN EMAIL WITH ADDITIONAL INSTRUCTIONS. SUMMARY:2026 Defensive Rifle Basic Course
DESCRIPTION:This is a one-day class from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. The emphasis of this course is on AR-style defensive rifle handling and shooting skills. Targets will be short to medium-range\, focusing on home defensive ranges. Students will be taught rights and responsibilities\, loading and unloading\, speed and tactical loads\, malfunction clearance\, zeroing\, disassembly and assembly\, and rifle component functions. Red Dot-type sights\, ACOG\, other low-power scopes\, and standard iron sights are welcome. You must have a backup iron sight capability if you have a sight. A minimum of three 20+ round magazines\, pockets\, or pouches to hold extra magazines or ammo is required. Standard range equipment\, such as eye and ear protection\, is needed. Knee and elbow pads are recommended.  Contact us for other equipment questions or requirements. A nominal 500 rounds are required. NO tracer or armor-piercing ammo allowed. \nNo refunds are given for this class. If there is a vacancy\, it is possible to move to another class date.

DESCRIPTION:Advanced Defensive Rifle Course — One‑Day Training (8:00 AM–6:00 PM)\nCompletion of the Defensive Rifle Basic Course is required before attending this class. \nThis advanced course expands on foundational rifle skills and introduces higher‑level defensive concepts\, including coordinated movement\, communication\, and team‑based problem‑solving. Students will work through realistic scenarios designed to strengthen confidence\, safety\, and efficiency with AR‑style defensive rifles at practical home‑defense distances. \nTraining includes: \n\nShoot\, move\, and communicate principles\nIndividual and team movement techniques\nSafe coordination\, spacing\, and communication while moving with others\nAdvanced rifle handling under increased complexity and stress\nRifle‑to‑handgun transition drills\n\nApproved sighting systems include red dots\, ACOG‑style optics\, low‑power variable optics\, and standard iron sights. Rifles equipped with optics must also have a backup iron sight capability. \nRequired equipment: \n\nMinimum of three 20+ round rifle magazines\nMagazine pouches or pockets for carrying extra ammunition\nStandard eye and ear protection\nKnee and elbow pads (recommended)\nA handgun with a minimum of 100 rounds for transition drills\nOutside‑the‑waistband handgun holster preferred\, but not required\nApproximately 500 rounds of rifle ammunition\n\nNo tracer or armor‑piercing ammunition permitted\n\n\n\nIf you have questions about gear or need clarification\, please reach out to us. \nNo refunds are given for this class.
