DESCRIPTION:THIS IS OUR LAST DEFENSIVE HANDGUN LEVEL 2 CLASS AS WE HAVE MERGED 1 AND 2. \nDefensive Handgun 2 is a demanding course and consists of 16 hours of training that will challenge you physically and mentally. This course is for ages 18 and up and you must be able to legally possess a firearm. You will learn how to properly handle and operate your concealed handgun. Semi-auto is preferred but revolvers with speed loaders are welcome. Sturdy belt and leather or Kydex holster. No trigger finger retention holsters in class. Closed-toe shoes\, hat\, and eye and ear protection. This course takes the DH-1 beyond by introducing single-hand shooting\, single-hand malfunction clearance\, movement\, various positions with elevation changes\, and concealed holster work. \nYou must have passed Defensive Handgun 1 before attendance. SUMMARY:2023 Defensive Rifle Course
DESCRIPTION:The emphasis of this course is on AR-style defensive rifle handling and shooting skills. Targets will be short to medium-range\, focusing on home defensive ranges. Students will be taught rights and responsibilities\, loading\, unloading\, speed loads\, tactical loads\, malfunction clearance\, zeroing\, disassembly and assembly\, and rifle component functions. Red Dot type sights\, ACOG\, or other low-power scopes are welcome as well as standard iron sights. You must have a backup iron sight capability if you have a sight. Minimum of three 20+ round magazines\, pockets\, or pouches to hold extra magazines or ammo are required. Standard range equipment such as eye and ear protection is required. Knee and elbow pads are recommended. Bring your concealed carry handgun with outside the waistband holster or other configuration and ammo for transition drills. Contact us for other equipment questions or requirements. Nominal 250 rounds are required. NO tracer or Armor Piercing ammo allowed. If you cannot find ammo\, we will have ammo for purchase. \nNo refunds are given for this class. It is possible to be moved to another class date if there is a vacancy.

SUMMARY:2023 Defensive Shotgun Course
DESCRIPTION:Due to strong interest\, we will be presenting our second Defensive Shotgun Course. This course is for the home defender that owns any type of Shotgun (must be able to shoot slugs\, IC or Modified Choke). Preference would be to the pump and semi-auto actions. There are a lot of myths about the Shotgun that will be dispelled in this class. You will learn the effective use of your Shotgun in-home or camp defense. \nYou will learn – \nSafety\, Operation\, Loads\, Reloads\, Malfunctions\, Deployment\, Patterning\, Movement\, and Communication. \nYou must bring – Tactical shotguns are preferred but not mandatory. Shotgun must be capable of shooting standard slugs. Ammunition\, Eye Protection (one set of clear)\, Ear Protection\, Knee pads\, Elbow pads\, Hat with brim\, Magazine pouch or pants with cargo pockets\, Small pack or bag\, Sunscreen\, Rain Gear\, Rugged Footwear\, Cleaning Gear\, Any Special Tools for your gun/gear\, Manual for your firearm and gear. \n150 rounds of ammunition (A variety of ammunition is used in this course. Minimum of 100 rounds of birdshot (7 1/2 to 9)\, 25 rounds of 00 Buck\, and 25 rounds of slug ammunition. No home reloads allowed due to insurance.) \nNo refunds given for this class. This will be the only Defensive Shotgun Course for the year so NO transfers are allowed.

There are a lot of myths about the Shotgun that will be dispelled in this class. You will learn the effective use of your Shotgun in-home or camp defense. \nYou will learn – \nSafety\, Operation\, Loads\, Reloads\, Malfunctions\, Deployment\, Patterning\, Movement\, and Communication. \nYou must bring – Tactical shotguns are preferred but not mandatory. Shotgun must be capable of shooting standard slugs. Ammunition\, Eye Protection (one set of clear)\, Ear Protection\, Knee pads\, Elbow pads\, Hat with brim\, Magazine pouch or pants with cargo pockets\, Small pack or bag\, Sunscreen\, Rain Gear\, Rugged Footwear\, Cleaning Gear\, Any Special Tools for your gun/gear\, Manual for your firearm and gear. \n150 rounds of ammunition (A variety of ammunition is used in this course. Minimum of 100 rounds of birdshot (7 1/2 to 9)\, 25 rounds of 00 Buck\, and 25 rounds of slug ammunition. No home reloads allowed due to insurance.) \nNo refunds given for this class. Students will be taught rights and responsibilities\, loading\, unloading\, speed loads\, tactical loads\, malfunction clearance\, zeroing\, disassembly and assembly\, and rifle component functions.  Red Dot type sights\, ACOG\, or other low power scopes are welcome as well as standard iron sights. If you have a sight you must have a backup iron sight capability. Minimum of three 20+ round magazines\, pockets\, or pouches to hold extra magazines or ammo required. Standard range equipment such as eye and ear protection is required. Knee and elbow pads are recommended. Bring your concealed carry handgun with outside the waistband holster or other configuration and ammo for transition drills. Contact us for other equipment questions or requirements. Nominal 250 rounds required. NO tracer or Armor Piercing ammo is allowed. If you cannot find ammo we will have ammo for purchase. \nNo refunds given for this class. SUMMARY:Defensive Rifle Course
DESCRIPTION:Emphasis of this course is on AR style defensive rifle handling and shooting skills. Targets will be short to medium range and the focus will be on home defensive ranges. Students will be taught rights and responsibilities\, loading\, unloading\, speed loads\, tactical loads\, malfunction clearance\, zeroing\, disassembly and assembly\, and rifle component functions.  Red Dot type sights\, ACOG\, or other low power scopes are welcome as well as standard iron sights. If you have a sight you must have a backup iron sight capability. Minimum of three 20+ round magazines\, pockets or pouches to hold extra magazines or ammo required. Standard range equipment such as eye and ear protection required. Knee and elbow pads recommended. Bring your concealed carry handgun with outside the waistband holster or other configuration and ammo for transition drills. Contact us for other equipment questions or requirements. Nominal 400 rounds required. NO tracer or Armor Piercing ammo allowed. If you cannot find ammo we will have ammo for purchase. \nNo refunds given for this class. It is possible to be moved to another class date if there is a vacancy.
