SUMMARY:Defensive Handgun for the Armed Citizen
DESCRIPTION:This Defensive Handgun for the Armed Citizen course is designed for individuals who want to develop the skills and knowledge necessary for responsible\, effective self-defense. Participants must be at least 18 years of age and are encouraged to bring a semi-automatic pistol and a sturdy belt\, along with a leather or kydex holster (no trigger finger retention holsters allowed). Eye and ear protection are also required. The curriculum covers use of force training\, real-life scenario training\, position shooting\, and one-handed handgun manipulations\, providing a comprehensive and hands-on education. Participants should bring 350 rounds of ammunition to maximize their learning experience. More equipment information will be sent to the students 2 weeks prior to class. Additional information can also be found on our website. \nFirst day will be range day. Second day will be at an indoor training facility. \n  \nTHERE ARE NO REFUNDS ALLOWED IF YOU CAN NOT ATTEND THE CLASS. YOU CAN REQUEST TO BE MOVED TO ANOTHER LIKE CLASS AT A LATER DATE.

SUMMARY:Red Dot Transition Course
DESCRIPTION:With the rise in popularity and the adaptation of the use of red dot sights (RDS) for self-defense pistols\, C4TG has prepared a comprehensive transition course to introduce the concept behind operating the pistol with red dot sight. This class is designed to assist the armed citizen to transition to the RDS and effective use. \nSubject Matter Samples:\nThe hardware: RDS technology\, holster\, mounting\, battery\, BUS\nHardware Reliability\nEnvironmental Factor for use of RDS\nRDS Pros & Cons vs Iron Sights\nStress and Focal point\nRDS Aiming and Sight Picture\nThe Grip & Stance factor\nThe use of parallax\nDrawing and Presentation from Holster using RDS\nZeroing the RDS\nDot Behavior in recoil\nTracking the dot and shooting errors\nCommon RDS failures and remedies \nStudent must have a Red Dot system mounted on their handgun with a proper (leather or kydex) outside of the waistband holster. Student must have a minimum of 400 rounds for the class. We can provide electronic hearing protection and eye protection. We will provide targets. This will be a fast moving class with a minimal lunch break so pack a lunch.
