About C4 Training Group

Charles and Cynthia are originally from the Boise Idaho area. After a 24 year career in the U.S. Army Infantry, they decided to settle in Fairbanks Alaska. Charles is now working on his second career as a Sergeant with the Alaska State Troopers, and Cynthia is retired from the Federal government. They have one son and three beautiful granddaughters.

Our Lead Instructor

Charles served in the United States Army for over 24 years. He served in a variety of positions including Sniper, Team Leader, Squad Leader, Platoon Sergeant, Battalion Operations Sergeant, Battalion Master Gunner, Company First Sergeant, and Combat Division Master Gunner. Some of his awards from service include the Combat Infantry Badge, Excellence in Competition Badge (Rifle), Bronze Star, and the Legion of Merit. Charles also has a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice and Masters’s in Education from Troy State University, AL. Charles currently is a Sergeant with the Alaska State Troopers and serves as a certified firearms instructor in Handguns, Patrol rifles, shotguns, and Red Dot handguns.
