Defensive Handgun 1 consists of 16 hours training that will challenge you. This course is for ages 18 and up and you must be able to legally possess a firearm. You will learn how to properly handle and operate your concealed handgun. Semi-auto preferred but revolvers with speed loaders welcome. Sturdy belt and leather or kydex holster. No trigger finger retention holsters in class. Closed toe shoes, hat, and eye and ear protection.

This course is a prerequisite for Defensive Handgun 2.
